Am I the only one that thought Slum was kinda blah? I get the feel good thing in this recession but I was rather bored.

Sean Penns' acceptance speech was brilliant and thought provoking. It had to be said and I'm glad it was him. I still preferred Mickey to take it home but happy with outcome.

As for best picture not happy with slumdog it simply irritates me. Overrated.

Bored? I have my problems with the film, but finding it boring is not one of them.

I know. It's just Sofia's sexiness has always defied age. And I think this is the first time her age was truly noticeable.

The fact that her gown was tragic did not help.

Something simple and black has worked wonders for her in the past.

Sean Penn to me is one of the best actors ever, but also one of the greatest smartest people who just doesnt take anyones shit and says what is on his mind, hes not afraid to be un-popular when he says things.

I generally wait to pass judgment on a movie until after I see it, but hey, if you can decide whether a movie is good or bad or even overrated by a preview than more power to you.

My friend is lending me her DVD of it this week.

Movies that have sucked in the preview & making have always been a disappointment to me as a feature film. My own instinct serves me correctly.

I know peeps that have enjoyed it and others that didn't so its just one of those types.
