man on wire!!!!

That and Encounters at The End of The World were the only documentaries I had seen. It would have been hard to top Man On Wire. That was very good. And the fact that the towers are gone helped a little I think.

I hope she wins, too. Meryl Streep was so over the top in Doubt.

I love Kate as an actress but her acceptance speeches seem a bit forced, no?

I think Ledger would have won, dead or alive. I thought Hofmann was boring in Doubt. I thought all of Doubt was boring actually.

Doubt was way overrated. Viola Davis was the only nomination that was deserved for that film I thought.

heath ledger only won because he's dead. so stupid. the movie, dark knight, was not nominated for any other crucial award...not best picture, best actor, best screenplay. if he had not died, his performance would have been overlooked as well.

Do you feel better now you bitter, spiteful person?

As I've told MANY retards like you, the Oscar hype for Heath began LONG BEFORE he died, get that through your thick head. Heath WOULD have won if he were alive because nobody can deny, except for jealous people like you, that it was one of the finest performances of the new millenium.

If you can accept that, too bad for you, what's done is done. DEAL WITH IT.

It'd be interesting to know what Jack Nicholson thinks about Heath's win.

Guess I'll be one of those bitter hateful person's that thought Heath only won cause he died. I didn't think his performance was all that. Then again the whole movie kinda bored me. Ironman was more entertaining.

And so you can actually get your facts straight :

Best Supporting Actor WON
Best Art Direction WON
Best Cinematography
Best Film Editing
Best Makeup
Best Sound Editing
Best Sound Mixing WON
Best Visual Effects

His performance would not have been overlooked because it was already HUGELY hyped by the time the trailers came out.

I didn't like Changeling at all. Melissa Leo and Anne Hathaway were much better in their respective movies. But I agree that Kate is the favorite.
