heath ledger only won because he's dead. so stupid. the movie, dark knight, was not nominated for any other crucial award...not best picture, best actor, best screenplay. if he had not died, his performance would have been overlooked as well.

La Maison en Petits Cubes won that category. Which actually was the film I liked the least of all the nominations--way too sentimental.

Where did you see the shorts? At a festival?

The shorts, both live and animated, are shown at the IFC theater here every year.

I agree with the live action short winner, Toyland. There was a nice message in that one.

I think so too, and while he was good and the best part of the movie (which I didn't like actually), I don't think it was Oscar worthy. And he wouldn't have been nominated if he was alive.

The movie was good, but his role was really stand-out in my opinion
He did a great job at becoming the Joker

Cool. I need to check out when/where they're shown in Toronto besides the TIFF.

he was definitely the best part of the movie but, yeah, hardly award winning.

Do you feel better now you bitter, spiteful person?

As I've told MANY retards like you, the Oscar hype for Heath began LONG BEFORE he died, get that through your thick head. Heath WOULD have won if he were alive because nobody can deny, except for jealous people like you, that it was one of the finest performances of the new millenium.

If you can accept that, too bad for you, what's done is done. DEAL WITH IT.
