Your town's skyline

This is a chance to show your town's downtown. Here's what Houston's looks like.
This is how Downtown Houston looks.

The whole city doesn't look like that. That's just a portion of downtown and if you notice, the photographer took the picture from way up in the sky to show a lot of lights. A lot of those lights way off in the distance aren't even from downtown. Our downtown is different from most everyone else's downtown. The majority of it is office buildings and after 5:00 p.m. and on weekends, downtown becomes a ghost town.

An aerial view of midtown East (Manhattan) looking east over the East River into Queens. I took it from an airplane one time when flying back to NYC. That's the southeast corner of Central Park in the lower left.

The check. The string he dropped. The Mona Lisa. The musical notes taken out of a hat. The glass. The toy shotgun painting. The things he found. Therefore, everything seen–every object, that is, plus the process of looking at it–is a Duchamp.

I do love our skyline.

Standing right behind the "married with children" fountain looking back toward the city is the most amazing view.

I used this photo for a PowerPoint Pres...
