okay...resident evil 5 is coming out in two, but only on these two systems. i already have a wii, but don't like playing certain kinds of games on it (and re5 is not slated to come out on the wii anytime soon) that being said..i'm really not much of the 24-hour a day video gamer anymore, and there are very few games that i have completed over the last coupla years (the last being the suffering and re4).

which system should i get? i know about the RROD on xbox..and that $400 price tag on the ps3 is looking harsh in this economy (and i could almost say i would use it for blu ray discs...but there just aren't that many movies i buy anymore)
i'm thinking of just getting the arcade version of xbox which is like $199.
i could probably build my library up on cheap 1st and 2nd gen games.

opinions?

We have both...and my son plays his 360 more then his PS3..you choice should be in what kind of games you are going to play etc....

price and economy considered, look for a used one. gamestop will have some, pawn shops, craigslist...
