Were the Smashing Pumpkins really that bad live?...

I just picked up Earphoria because I absolutely love the Pumpkins, tho I never was able to see them live.

I was kind of unpleasantly shocked.

They sound HORRIBLE live. I can't believe they would even release this CD. Yikes.

Hehehe.
Smashing were all about up and downs.
Saw them and every time they would be too stoned to sound tight.
Oh well.
SOme people you just listen to on LP.
