I would have liked it a lot more if it was rated "R" instead of "PG-13". razz

Ya, I wish - Javier almost 20 years ago in Jamón, jamón. I was in love when I saw that movie. love

I love the scene where he is banging the wife and asks for a motorcycle then it cuts to the next scene and he is riding the bike.

Love that movie.

My favorite movie with Javier was La Segunda Piel in which we see his ass being pounded till he cries.

I think Vicky Cristina Barcelona was funny enough.

It was a bit strange because you couldn't hear Woody that well in this movie.

But overall it was entertaining.

Although Scarlet sucked balls.

Perv!

biggrin

Seriously though, at the end I wondered what was the point, really? None of the characters' lives had changed at all after what they had just experienced. They all went back to square one. It was a nice, harmless film.

I enjoyed it although I found it to be quite ridiculous. Am I the only one who fought that Cristina's hand being shot funny?

I haven't seen it, but wondering if their lives had changed would it have been considered an unrealistic finale?

Not at all. The characters lives could have been significantly altered and still be believable. Maybe Woody didn't go that route because it was expected? True, not every story has to be a life-changing experience, but it would have made it more satisfying to me. It wasn't a bad movie at all, I just expected more.

or at the very least "AA"
i wasn't a fan of cruz until i saw "volver." cruz and bardem were fabulous together! the other two, not so much.
i wished there would have been more to the movie since the ending seemed kinda blah but in essence, it made perfect sense. females go on vacation where getting laid is part and parcel with the all-inclusive resort package and then, return to their blase lives... somewhat changed. so if anything, woody was able to capture that.

I'm sure it was, but the movie would have made more of an impression on me if some significant change happened at the end.

Now The Wrestler is a good example of a movie where the fact that the characters' lives remained the same was very tragic.
