Russell Simmons has put his thinking cap on and launched a new clothing line catering to those affected by the Recession Boogeyman.

Simmons new clothing line, American Classic, made its debut at 350 Wal-Mart stores Sunday.

The college prep-inspired line for "25-to-50-year-old men such as Will Smith, Adam Sandler, and Barack Obama,” is retailed between $9.99 and $29. American Classic comes five years after the hip hop mogul sold the iconic line Phat Farm to Kellwood Industries for $140 million.

i hope it doesn't have iron on graphics

or cheesy 80's style/colors like i recently noticed in target

because he's not dumb.

Wal-Mart is one of the few places that are still posting profits. Due to shady business practices and stuff like that, yeah, but still.

Russell knows people don't have money right now. He's smart.
