Synthetic or real? Go with real...the synthetic are terrible. You can't curl them, dye them or wash them.

For clips, I would definitely go with real. When I was doing synthetic wigs, most of them were costume-y or campy (though a few looked very real/nice). |

Synthetic or real? I buy the synthetic ones, the real ones are way too expensive. My sister and niece buy from this place: http://www.sohoforme.com/ And I get mine from here: http://www.hairuwear.com/...x?pgID=996 http://beauty.hsn.com/ton...61_xc.aspx No one has ever been able to tell that any of us are wearing them - like CarrieLee said, they just say that your hair looks good!

I have wavy hair naturally, so I buy the ones with the wave already in them and I get a color that matches my haircolor (it always does) and you can wash them - if you buy the cheap ones from the beauty supply they may not hold up, but the better quality ones do. Also, you can buy special synthetic hair shampoo/conditioner to clean them. I guess it also depends on how often you wear them - I just wear them on special occasions.

I always curl my ends up so the synthetic won't work for me. Nice that they work for you though! I'd save a lot of money!

Oh, please. You know you still have your "special closet." We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

I can relate to the big hair thing tho. I once had my stylist sew a wig onto another wig. A hairpiece just didn't cut it.

I am always changing my hair color. I have fried my hair soo many times.
I thought about adding color extensions instead of the highlights... maybe I should try it... But, i have seen some girl fights where the extensions go flying..... or movies where the girls extensions just fall out .... Say it's just a dream...
U open up ur eyes and come 2 realize u simply imagined this So u lean over and give her a kiss Here on earth, here on earth, with u it's not so bad Here on earth, here on earth eye don't feel so sad Stay right here

If a guy goes to play with your hair or run his fingers through it wouldn't it feel all lumpy? Do you want them for every day Erin?

Super easy if you have lots of hair and it isn't too fine with too tight a cuticle (like mine). In which case, you'll be spraying and teasing in spots to get the piece to stay in. That would be fun every once in a while. It's very girly and feminine to have big, full hair. I can understand wanting it. One day when I get a decent job maybe I'd get some to play with.

I now wonder if the extensions would just look really thin at the longer parts.

That video you posted is exactly how I do mine. I made wider pieces for the back and then thinner ones for the sides.
If you go on youtube and search for ford models they have all kinds of different ways to wear extensions.

I had some extentions done in my salon awhile ago.
They were protein hair glued in. I loved them. It was just like my real hair I never noticed them!
