I would have loved to be a dancer. It's a tough life with not much stability and not a lot of money.

If I had stayed single and didn't have a family it would have been OK.

I'll take this one too!!

I won solo dance competitions when I was 5, yet my parents didn't let me continue my lessons. I've decided it's all their fault I'm not dancing on broadway right now.

sad Why not?

Oh and it's totally their fault! mad

I wanted to do ballet so badly as a kid but they put me in gymnastics and swimming instead and i hated them all so much sad I got into dancing later on, but I wish I learned from an early age properly.

I loved it. cloud9

I also took piano for 10 years, but you wouldn't know it these days. lol

I haven't played in such a long time because I didn't have my piano with me.

They couldn't afford it. A friend of the family paid for everything for me for my first year. My older brother was in hockey which is REALLY expensive. They let me try other sports and activities along the way (I was in gymnastics for a few years, soft ball, volleyball) but I was never as good at anything as I was with dance.

That sucks. I don't have any experience with hockey. I am slowly finding out through my kids just how expensive "hobbies" can be.

I remember my mom paying $75 to $100 for my dance costumes waaaaay back (I guess almost 25 years ago--I'm getting old-- neutral ) I can't imagine how much they cost now. Not to mention the lessons. I used to take tap, ballet, and jazz. Wow.

I have wanted to take classes again as an adult. I never live in a decent enough city to have classes I like. Not to mention I really don't have the time right now.

We can be dancers in our next lives Carrie! highfive

Tapping at this point in my life could prove to be dangerous without an industrial strength sports bra. lol

I actually took tap for the first time as an adult. The class was a blast...and I'd've kept at it, if I hadn't started getting cast in plays.

You should go for it!

I would love to own a book store on a Caribbean island. Somewhere more upscale like Aruba, Tortola, Bahamas, St. Barts etc.....

I may not ever get rich, but I would never want to leave either.

#1) I want to work your eight hours on my schedule. If there's a meeting at 9 AM, I'll be there. If you think I need to be there at 9 AM everyday, we're not going to work out. My day never ends at 5 PM so let's keep perspective.

#2) Respect what I bring to the table and treat me well in compensation and I'll move mountains for you and your company. Have never met a more loyal person than myself in regards to employers and their employees.

#3) Vacation/personal time; annually I need a month minimum with a week or two in addition for sick days if I need them. I will never leave when big projects are scheduled and will have someone to back me up if gone longer than a week.

#4) That's it! Let's talk salary requirements and I'll back-up my claims with references and a portfolio!
