I just left chicken in the microwave for too long. i was defrosting it and left it for too long. now it is cooked. should i try to cook it for real on the oven. | |

That usually happens when I defrost chicken in the microwave as well and I haven't died yet. Just make sure it's well cooked whatever else you're gonna do to it. | |

I usually trim away the 'waved bits, season nicely and cook that rascal... depends on how big those bits are though, you do want some chicken left... A working class Hero is something to be ~ Lennon | |

You need a microwave with a Defrost Poultry setting. That is my advice.
But you could still save that chicken. Cut it up and sautee it with some veggies or something. | |
