Hillary Duff vs. Faye Dunaway

Wow. First Etta vs. Beyonce and now its Faye vs. Hillary.

Hilary Duff Keeps Faye Dunaway Feud Going

Making fun of Faye Dunaway's looks wasn't enough for Hilary Duff—she's still peeved at the aging actress.

Quick feud recap (because there are too many to keep track of anymore): Hilary is starring in a Bonnie and Clyde remake. This caused Dunaway to allegedly cackle, ''Couldn't they at least cast a real actress?" which got the Duffster in such a huff, she lashed out to E!'s Daily 10, "I might be mad if I looked like that now, too."

Seems pretty straightforward and done with, but Hilary's still got more to say about the matter on today's Bonnie Hunt Show.
See, Duff says Dunaway can't judge her, because the Lizzie McGuire star is still growing. "She started acting way later than I did, so I think I have time to grow—and grow with each project. I am learning and work hard at my craft," Hilary explains to Bonnie.

Being the kind hostess, Bonnie offers up some comfort: "I think even Faye went through a time, if you look historically, where some people might have said that about her. She has great beauty, but she proved herself."

Then Hilary admits her D10 comments were kind of mean, but whatevs: "It's not OK for people to take stabs at you and to say mean things for no reason." And now we wait to see if this thing is really and truly over...or if another Faye Dunaway zinger is on its way.

eek Hillary should just keep her mouth shut, yes the comment by Faye was catty and unnecessary, but Hillary should have taken the high road and said "no comment" or...something else that wasnt so catty. After all, Fay is an established and well respected actress, and Hillary is...just a grown up kid actress who got her fame from Disney (or was it Nickelodeon?) Faye has paid her dues. Hillary hasnt yet, and she's not helping herself by bashing one of Hollywood's most respected actresses. confused

Faye Dunaway ain't gonna lose no sleep over this bullshit.

The hungry desparate no-talent insignificant early-has been trys to stir water to get some shine out of Ms.Dunaway.

But if Faye is smart, she'll take the high road and keep quite, and let this bitch starve to death.

Although, I would've loooooved to see Faye sending that ass to WIRE HANGER CITY..

Unfortunately for Ms. Duff, Faye Dunaway is absolutely right.

All true. But the only way for Lulliputlians to get noticed was to try and topple the giants. .

Hillary has the right to defend herself from some old, jealous washed up actress. Go Hillary! biggrin

I agree she has a right to defend herself against that comment, but it was the way she did it that was wrong--tearing someone else down just to build yourself up just aint the way to go IMO. She should have been above making a dig at Faye's appearance. She could have said something like, I respect Faye as an actress but I disagree with her comment...or something like that. Or she could have done what Beyonce did when Etta lashed out at her by just not saying anything. And although I side with Etta on that issue, I have to admit, she's the one who ended up looking bad. I cant help but think that Hillary's comment will come back to bite her in the butt one day.

I'm no big fan of La Duff but Faye's initial comment seems uncalled for.
If the remake comes out and Hillary sucks, the critics and the world will let her know.

I think Duff's comeback was deliciously bitchy and gain her a few diva-in-training points. lol

Etta was a lil' pissed. lol

I can kind of see tho, how it might have been nice to at LEAST have her in for a duet. She's old school and it would've been a nice gesture. Or else, pick a different song.

But in the greater picture, the whole thing is silly.

Duff's not a real actress? What, she's like some cyborg or something?? Cool!

I always knew her teeth weren't real, but all of her is fake?

Or, you know, the young half-talents could just learn to respect their elders and betters. And their fans really could stand to learn a little humility on the matter too. confused

Faye disrespected Hillary first. If they wanted Etta James to sing at the inaguration, they would have asked HER.
