If it doesn't cause my tits to drop to my knees and make my belly look like a flap jack then sure.

No. I'm not emotionally stable enough to handle giving birth to a child that is not "mine".

Ugh, I'm beginning to wonder if I want to be pregnant with my husband's child. It's going on the seventh month, and I'm about DONE!!!

The good thing is that I have had a C-Section with the first, and a scheduled for this one, so no loose cooch here! yay!

philosophically i don't have a problem with it. i'm not sure if i could do it, even if my own child situation was sorted. i think there are women out there that just love being pregnant that might be more amenable to this proposal.

as a single woman i'm looking at adoption or fostering as well. like insatiable said, it's important that you have what the child needs in that situation and not the other way around. it's complex. i have to delve further into it. desperate need of foster homes here.

Having thought about this before, right now my most honest answer would have to be that I just don't know. So much of what could influence a decision like that either way would be circumstantial IMO.

I would still find it heartbreaking after carrying it for 9 months ...
I think in this case it would depend who it was for ...for instance if my daughter couldn't carry but her egg could be used ..I would do it for her in a heart beat

let's say you have a gay son and he and his partner want a baby. they find an egg donor at a clinic that has a stock of eggs but they just need a womb? since the title of the thread is Gay guy's baby mama

No thanks.

And I love how people think that squeezing out a kid automatically makes your cooch loose for good.

I think the "loose coochie" remark was meant as temporarily as the morning sickness & some other typical symptoms, I don't think anyone is implying it stays loose. smile

Yup. You never wondered what's driving the c-section business? Something like over half of caesarians performed in North America are unnecessary; opted for by the expecting mother because she wrongly believes her girly bits will be flapping in the wind forevermore if she has a vaginal birth. It's stunning what people will believe, really. eek

First of all rolleyes

Secondly, a looser coochie is definitely a side effect of childbirth for many women.

edit: changed loose to looser

Because I loved the experience of being pregnant and giving birth, but I don't necessarily want more kids. I would want to nurse the baby, though. Not sure how that would work.

This is all hypothetical, of course, as I doubt my husband would sign the permission slip for something like that. lol
