I always thought he likes the colour brown and about the hat, people with really long and heavy dreadlocks wear it. Helps a whole lot. I swear the words "HATER" is wayyy over-rated...smh

Then what is the point of the dreads?

My husband has dreads and often puts them up in a hat. It's just a look.
Sway's must be very thick and long. I have never seen his hair down. Peace. Love. Prince

Then what is the point of the dreads? For some it's for religious purposes (dem big ugly natty bungos we call them), for others, it's just style, some, like moi, isn't too fond of styling and havin to handle the hair all the time. Dreadlocks can get really really heavy and especially if it's black, it holds alot of heat, so puttin it up and/or covering it helps. Also, dreads and scalp require alot of moisture to stay healthy and the sun can do mucho mucho damage if exposed to it too long. Alot of ppl with black hair, their dreads get brown after being exposed to the sun too much so coverin it helps alot. I swear the words "HATER" is wayyy over-rated...smh
