I know you're not alone. There are a lot of women I know who went on to marry their boyfriends based on how they kissed them    and others who broke up their relationships even though they appeared to be perfect for each other because they were bad kissers. 
I've also seen some news reports on TV about high end hookers and porn stars who are willing to do incredibly kinky things with their sex partner as long they don't kiss them on the lips.  Apparently the effect of kissing a woman on her lips will send her into a hormonal frenzy. It can do the same for guys as well, but they tend to compartmentalize their feeling a lot better than women.

actually, according to that article, although it lowered stress in both men and women, only in men did it actually raise the levels of bonding hormone (in women, kissing actually LOWERED oxytocin levels  ) | |
