NFL: Colts considering not bringing Marvin Harrison back

The NFL is cold.....

Has Marvin Harrison come to the end of the road with the Colts?

Colts president Bill Polian acknowledged Thursday that the team does not know if it will bring the 13-year veteran back for another season.

Cutting Harrison would save the Colts $6 million against the Cap, reports the Indianapolis Star.

"It's entirely possible," Polian told the paper of Harrison's potential to return.

Having a lack of certainty in Harrison is a steep drop for the eight-time Pro Bowler whose connection with Peyton Manning was once a staple of the Colts' offense.

Harrison caught 60 passes in 15 games last season. Excluding 2007 when he played just five games, that was his lowest total since 1998, when he caught 59 in 12 games.

Did you read that NFL piece on him? It basically suggested Harrison was a gangster. They talked about all these violent incidents in his past that basically flew under the radar. I was pretty surprised.

The main thing is him being a "13 year" Veteran. I've seen it to many times but more than likely he will be cut and go to another team. Might stay in the league a few more years then retire.

people on the org are prince, mj, and beyonce(why?) 365 a year. lol

Just for the record marvin is past his prime. He hasn't been the same
since the injury. He may play somewhere else at a budget salary.

That's why they call it the Not For Long.

The sport's nature and attitude towards its even its most highly paid players often seems like this.
