I have a friend of mine who's a flight attendant for Continental Connection and he's based out of Newark. I texted him this morning to see if he was around but I haven't heard from him yet. I'm going to try again cause I need to know if he's alright but this is scary. I saw him last week and we were talking about airplanes and he said that its the safest form of travel out there. Now all of this. Damn

I just called his number and it's temporarily out of service. Now I'm really getting concerned.

I just got off the phone with my best friend and I found that my friend is alive and doing fine. I discovered that he doesn't even work for that part of Continental, the carriers name is Express Jet, which is CC's competitor but I believe they are related, though I could be wrong. Needless to say and I am very relieved with this news.

My heart contines to go out to Mach and Shelly.

I only have a few minutes to post before I have to leave again.

Someone very close to my heart was on that plane. I cannot go into detail now because his family might not all know yet. I almost lost 2 others but they changed their plans at the last minute and one stayed with me and the other 2 left on different flights. I don't know if this is making sense, I haven't been to bed yet.
When the news came on tv last night, it caught my attention but they said it was a small plane, not a commercial flight so I didn't think it affected me but then they said it was Continental and that was the flight they always use to go to Ny and back. Now I found out that my other person came home on the same plane earlier in the day

Hug and kiss your loved ones and tell them you love them every chance you get.

Ughhhhh This is just terrible...

I'm deathly afraid of flying and I'm getting on a plane again in 2 weeks. I actually have to take crazy pills so I won't freak out. It's awful, and this makes it a million times worse.

My friend is alright, though his assistant was on the plane. He was unhappy with the flight delay and decided to drive home. Unfortunately he sent all his equipment with her, including his laptop and cell phone.
When he finally heard about the flight, he called to let us know he is alright.

It seems his assistant was the same young lady that Mach knows. He is devastated about what happened, she was a wonderful, talented person.
