And I'm not talking about a fast food joint like Wendy's, McDonald's or Burger King. I'm talking about a real sit down restaurant, where people wait on you. Personally, I love eating out. If it weren't so darn expensive and if I weren't so broke all the time, I'd do it more often. What about you?

Yeah, I only do it part time, but I get to eat at upscale restaurants for next to nothing. They reimburse for the meal too.

id rather eat at home, but because im lazy and my schedule we do alot of eating out.....sit down eating out for me is like denny...not enough money for anything else

I like locally owned and operated restaurants - specially ones that use local meats/produce

Thankfully Asheville has several of them

Sometimes it's just not relaxing, and it can be noisy & crowded.

Of course, it can be great to be served great food that I don't have to cook or clean up afterward!

I used to. Now the whole thing's just too much of a production for me.

I've gotta deal with the fucking hostess, the server, wait around for the food, wait for them to bring my credit card back, deal with people at the other tables jabbering away, deal with the music, deal with the server coming 'round with that fake smile, asking, "Is everything alright? ". YES, YES - EVERYTHING IS FUCKING ALRIGHT! If it weren't, believe me, you'd know.

I am all about the take-out.

Absolutely; it's one of the best things about living in New York. I particularly love finding a place that is kind of "mine"--as in not too crowded or trendy, just a good restaurant.

I'm glad that Dallas has so many great restaurants both small and under the radar as well as nationally known ones like Nobu, Craft, N9ne (which closed last week ) plus lots of great chefs. I've heard that D-town has more restaurants per capita than any other city in the country. I KNOW we've got more steakhouses.

I love doing that, by myself and bring a book. I can rarely afford it though. When I get money on Wednesday I AM going though, there's a place here called "Eat This!" that I'm dying to try... according to their ads, no kids are allowed
