I am, quite frankly, surprised at all the flipout cases that will eventually come into this thread. How can our cuntry be so scandalous in all our ways and then flip out at nature. I don't get it. People don't shrink away or try and shame dogs and cats when their litters are suckling but we want to shame women into a bathroom or closet or their own house. Recently there was an earthquake in China, and an ordinary female police officer ended up getting a medal from simply acting on instnct and feeding infants they would find in the rubble who lost their mothers in the disaster. Her own family was so far out of harm's way and her own baby was on a mix of formula and breast milk; during the disater she was up to 9 orphaned infants who would have died in the aftermath had she not picked them out of the debris and fed their little hungry dehydrated bodies   | |

Yeah I can see why you may think that... ...but i don't think that's how it would go down really i think ANY celebrity female breastfeeding an African baby will get press, no matter who it is and i think that's the issue - the fact this is still something considered to be shocking when this has been both family tradition and forced labour in some cases, for centuries. It's actually (in regards to the mentioning of forced labour traditions) a HUGE class subversion that's taking place with this regardless of what it MEANS contextually, it was right for her to do this and this kind of humanity should be used as prime example.
