i have 2 say the BEST Part of my Life is when my MoM & i used 2 travel by car from Chicago 2 Michigan & Ohio visiting Family wheneva we just felt like going. i remember my MoM used 2 say i would read "ALL" the signs on the HighWay becuz her NightVision wasn't as she say as good as my Eagele eye's.

i miss that time. & what's odd is she & my Father say i was SMATER when i was younger. i think i know y that is...

i LOVE the IDEA of being in LOVE & when i was a small impressionable child i was all about Mommy & Daddy...

it would b nice if we could back back 2 that time but that's not possible. i have a child now smile

it's time 2 Teach him 2 b a BETTER me smile
Peace ... & Stay Funky ...

~* The only love there is, is the love "we" make *~

oh, and riding horses nod I have a relative who has a riding school. that was fun, most of the times.
I also grew up in a great neighborhood, where everybody knew each other. all the kids would go outside to play, and the general mood wasn't as bad as today, with everything that goes on in Israel. sigh

Cheer up its not that bad smile

The horses are waiting for you up in the north at the kibbutz. You should come up north with us sometime and teach us how to ride !

The best part was just being a child... carefree, full of love, so innocent, not a care in the world... That was the best part.

I would have to be my growing in in Jamamica Queens.

Being able to take the 1.00 my dad gave me and go to the local candy store and bring home a bag full of candy and games and still have change left.

Good Humor Bars. Mr. Softee. Eating pumpkin seeds and Chick O' Sticks and huge blow pops.

Riding my bike on the sidewalk and skinning the hell out of my knees with I hit one of those big roots in the side walk.

The doberman on 131st that used to scare the hell of of me everytime my mom sent me to the store.

Riding the banister down from the second floor in elementary school and not realizing I could have died hitting the slate floor at the bottom.

My dog Spotty.

Going into the City with my dad to collect his paycheck and getting free sodas and candy from his workmates.

Oh yeah and getting candy and goodies from the cleaners, liquor store and any where else that provided a service.

The 70s were the bomb for being a kid.

The 80s were bangin' for a teenager.

My best memories of my childhood was being able to know my dad before he died in 1986. He was a great father, and I miss him today thats why apart of me when asked what is your favorite decade me mention the 80s since that was the last decade my father lived. I also have fond memories of 80s music, movies and toys. I missed all the tag your it games playing in elementary school.
