I love flax seeds

and flax seed oil makes a great supplement for omega3 acids. better than cod oil.

How do you use/consume them?

I grind them and drink them in juice

I use whole seeds

ground seeds added to all the flours in the house
toss some in pancake mix - bread dough, pie crust

oil suppliment - cold pressed oil for salad dressing and cooking

yeah regular and golden flax seed

OH and my fave shirt is made outta Flax fiber

Throw 'em (ground; they are indigestible whole) into baked stuff. They are nice in bread. 1/4 c. ground flaxseed beaten with 1/4 c. water can be used to substitute for an egg in cookies, cakes, etc.

I like the ground seeds and/or oil on salad.

I used to grind that shit up in a coffee grinder and sprinkle on cereal, oatmeal, yogurt. Oh yes and bake with it too!

They're kinda non-descript actually. Over here they use them in cookies, or top breads with them (sorta like how we do white sesame seed buns at home). They're also used in cereals here.

Very good for you. You can put it in salads or just about anything.

Only had them in chips, I dont't even realize they are there
