Do You Think Conan Will Do Well In Jay Leno's Spot and Do You Think Jimmy Fallon Will Be Cool In Conan's Spot?

This will be interesting Conan against Letterman and Fergason against Fallon...I'm gonna miss Jay Leno. Conan isn't the same. I think he will do well. I never watch him now because I watch Fergason and his guests haven't been all that cool lately.

The only reason I dont want Fallon to fail is because The Roots are the house band.

I like the Roots, but somehow that makes me dislike Fallon even more. disbelief

I think people will get used to the change, like they did with Leno. At first it'll feel weird, but eventually it'll seem fitting.

Conan'll beat Dave initially, due to the curiousity factor, but eventually Dave'll be #1.

Some of Fallon's impressions are funny, but aside from that I find him annoying. Unless the writing on the show is exceptionally strong, Ferguson (who I find corny) will trounce him.

I used to like Conan's show quite a bit. There's still some good writing on there (although I haven't watched much in a long time), but I now find him annoying, too. lol

As Stern said, Conan should've stayed in his no-pressure 12:30 slot and just raked in the mazuma. I also agree with him that NBC is crazy to move Leno when he rules that time spot. I mean, I hate Jay, but - if it ain't broke - why fix it?

shrug I watch Letterman... and if I'm still up (usually too lazy to get off the couch and go to bed at that point), I'll watch Ferguson.

In the long run, I don't think it's going to work out for any of the 3. Which is fine with me. They'll do well for the first few weeks/months, but the 11:30 audience isn't going to "get" Conan, unless they completely homogenize him and make it a crap-fest like Leno's current show. Conan's audience has aged to the point where Fallon probably isn't going to retain them. He'll draw in a different crowd, but it's going to take awhile. I'm not sure that the Fallon audience watches TV that late. I imagine they spend all night texting or facebooking or something. I haven't read what Leno's new format is going to be, but I imagine it's an interview format. And he SUCKS at interviews. It's in primetime, right? Nobody's interested in whatever format Leno's going to go with in primetime.

Which is fine, because I still love Letterman. He's still the best one of them on the air. Conan is fine also, but I haven't watched him in a long time, his shtick gets old, and they're going to water him down for the earlier timeslot.

lol Can't say I'll shed a tear if his corny, made-for-seniors-in-Peoria ass-kissing-fest bites the dust, either.

as a fan of Howard, you obviously know his ability to rip off material knows no end...and besides that, his snivelling, lame commentary is so predictable that it can't even be considered funny...I've never understood his appeal or popularity...his fame clearly says more about his viewing audience than it does him but I still consider him a grade A cunt...

Post-Andy Conan fell flat to me.

Jimmy Fallon's not particularly funny to me, either.

I like Letterman's curmudgeonly humor the best, but I rarely watch him nowadays.

if Conan could get Andy back as his sidekick for the new show, then I think my opinion on how things will shake out might change.

Well at the very least it will give The Roots the exposure they deserve. I know they are 'the legendary' but still.

Conan's overrated. Leno's corny to a cringe-worthy degree. Ferguson...MEH! And Letterman is hit and miss. So fuck them all! I never understood the appeal.
