He's been ripping and running in the backyard like it ain't nuthin. My Marley did the same thing when he broke his leg. Cowboy goes to the orthopedic surgeon tomorrow and we'll know then how to proceed. But I've already got a family that owns a farm that want to adopt Cowboy regardless of the outcome. The lady was a vet tech and when I described the situation, she said it would prolly be best to amputate. The best part is that she wants him anyway.  I had a dog named cowboy! a little beagle! Thank God the rescue organization ok'd for me to do whatever it takes.  It will be a 12-week recovery but the doctor is confident that he'll make a full recovery.
