Sometimes I eat a traditional japanese breakfast, which is very filling but completely opposite(or considerd odd) to western standards in terms of palate, fat, and calorie count. It consists of the following:

smoked salmon, trout, or mackerel
miso soup with wakame seaweed
tiny bowl of brown rice
picked vegetables(usually carrots, cucumbers, cabbage, or okra w/hijiki seaweed)
small pot of green tea

or I start the day mith miso soup w/ tofu, or a clear Japanese root vegetable soup that has carrot, tarro root, lotus root slices, shiritaki noodles and/or konyakku inside.

It sounds fairly exotic, but once you become familiar with the ingredients it's all pretty easy to make.

be careful with hijiki. japan and the usa has banned hijiki because study have showed small amounts of arsenic in hijiki.

When I was a teenager, I used to love having cold, leftover egg rolls for breakfast. I would ask my mother to order extra whenever we got chinese take out so I would have some for the next day

I eat a lot more than people assume I do. And not really the most healthy things. Especially when I am in a very unhappy phase of my life as I am right now I can eat all day (and all night) long and whatever I want and I even lose weight. And I don't do any sport as I am very lazy boxed. So when it comes to that I am very lucky nod. But when it comes to other things I am not at all, like my pale skin. I know your skin is very light too, but sure not nearly as much as mine. It is really hard for me that everyone stares at me because I am so pale. I sometimes feel like an alien sigh. I just came back from 2 weeks in Trinidad/Tobago and everyone here in Austria who spent the time in the cold European winter has more of a tan than I do bawl.

I think I should have kept my mouth shut zipped. I guess I am used to defending myself that I do eat enough when everybody keeps telling me I should eat more.

People who tell you that you should eat more, knowing that you are healthy are just jealous!

my brother is similar to ya, where he can eat any and everything he wants without getting huge....but it's finally catching up with him since he's started eating an entire box of Swiss Rolls everyday disbelief

now he's all shocked that he's developing a gut evillol
If you will, so will I

Or concerned like family members and longtime friends who know that I am too skinny at the moment. But that will change again one day anyway.

I just drink when I feel I cannot avoid it like a half full glass at a birthday party or at New Years Eve. But I don't like the taste of alcohol.

This is not unusual, but my favorite non-traditional breakfast is: a slice of cold pizza from the night before.
