Protecting a document I wonder if anyone can help me? I've been writing short stories and want to protect them on my computer, so that prying eyes can't get into them - I'm using Microsoft Word, how do I lock them? I'm not stopping. I haven't even taken my coat off

This is really basic:
Open the document you want to protect. Select the Tools menu, go to Options... Click on the Security tab. You can enter a password that must be entered before the document will open. Click OK. The check. The string he dropped. The Mona Lisa. The musical notes taken out of a hat. The glass. The toy shotgun painting. The things he found. Therefore, everything seen–every object, that is, plus the process of looking at it–is a Duchamp. | |

the simplest way is to create a zip file with a password, and put everything you want to protect, inside it.
Another simpler way is to put your files on a USB flash card instead of saving it to the hard drive. | |
