My newly acquired boyfriend and I are going to do all of the mushy gushy Christmas stuff that I've ALWAYS wanted to do but never had the chance nor excuse to do. We are going to come back to Santa Cruz mid-December and drink cider, listen to Christmas music, bake cookies/pastries/etc (this guy can COOK), sleep in flannel sheets, watch The Christmas Story and Charlie Brown's Christmas... it's gonna be great. And we're planning on going up to the city over break to look at the Christmas window displays, see the tree, ride the elevator in the St. Francis hotel up to the top... shit like that. I dunno, I just dig the holiday season, and it's oh-so-much cooler when you get to spend the majority of it with someone you really REALLY dig. And I just got these new warm boots plus a skirt just in time for Christmas - so I can be warm AND cute.  Yeah, the last part is pretty shallow.
