California officials warn they could pay income tax refunds with IOUs 
That's as good as money, sir. Those are I.O.U.'s. Last year 2.7 million people got their state refund in February totaling $2 billion. But, this single mom and other Californians may have to wait for their refund this year.
It is Day 61 of the state's budget stalemate and the state will run out of cash next month. It is at the point where the Controller will have to issue IOUs to pay the bills, including state tax refunds. "An IOU is a registered warrant issued on behalf of the state's treasury that lets the individual receiving the IOU know that they will receive their funds at a later date," explained Jacob Roper with the State Controller's Office. I would start charging interest as of April 16th, or the 1st of May depending on CA's deadline. Studies have shown the ass crack of the average Prince fan to be abnormally large. This explains the ease and frequency of their panties bunching up in it. |

just got a notice from the state tax board telling me that my state refund has been processed, but it will not be mailed to me due to the state budget. and that when they have a budget in place it will be mailed to me at that time. it also stated that if it takes more than 45 days i will be paid intrest on the amount. | |
