SO MY HUSBAND has booked us in for dance lessons  (he's decided that its not good that our kids can dance rings around us while we look like a couple of dorks  ) ...we start next week ....waltz, quickstep, cha and jive (I think) .....good lord its not going to be pretty  
The worst thing is he's good at everything and picks things up so quickly ..so Im going to look like even a bigger dork  ..wonder if I can cheat and start getting tips and lessons with Tyryn first

Aww that should be fun. You might surprise yourself. Those kids got their dance skills from someone.

You´ll absolutely love it!!! I did ballroom dancing for a few years.. until my parnter fell out with me.. then it was so hard to find another man who would come with me. My dance class would organise "dance nights".. which were FABULOUS!!! http://filme.hitmeister.d...ool-24338/
There was a live band, lots of tables, lots of couples and most importantly, lots of dancing! I loved those evenings.. and everyone there loved dancing too! I hope you have a blast and the dances really are not as hard as you think!! My husband and I took dance lessons with a couple that we've been friends with for years. We'd go out to dinner first then class.
My husband didn't love it, but he went along. For about 3 weeks or so. Then he lost interest. I loved it. I'm firmly planted in denial |

I tried and tried to get mine interested in latin dance lessons (the master is a GREAT dancer) but he wouldn't join the class cause he knew the teacher  and made me find another partner, which I did. I quit after 2 lessons, all that crotch to crotch action with someone other than the master was NOT realy appropriate  | |
