That really sucks, but I know EXACTLY how you feel.
I bought tickets at a really fantastic price to go to Seattle. My little sister lives in Seattle. Turns out she'll be out of the country while I'm there. Wished I'd remembered that. Hopefully, the weatherfolks will be totally wrong and the weather will be warm, sunny and beautiful while you're there. I'm firmly planted in denial |

I went to LA for Christmas and it rained then too! And it was cold! 
Two weeks later after I left, the temp. was back up to 80˚F and sunny.
