I just saw this, this weekend on DVD and while everyone who saw this at the movies was telling me how this movie was the best Tyler Perry movie that they had seen...I really wasn't that impressed. I mean I did like the fact that the plot was different from the other usual plots he usually has...but there were some plot holes in this movie too.

Has anyone else seen this movie? What was your opinion of it?

I liked it.
Not one of his best though.
As usual, has a message that everyone can take with them.
The movie could've had a bit more substance though.
But I always give a to inspirational movies.

It was his best effort so I do see some growth.....

I wanted to see it ONLY because Sanaa Lathan was in it, and I like her...but I really haven't enjoyed any of his movies that my mom has insisted that I watch

so I skipped it

when rockmond dunbar smacked the taste out of sanaa's mouth...i thought of prince and apples in purple rain :proud:

simple and one dimensional character development? simple and trite plot?
