Ex-Moderator | I guess I've used similar, but under a brand name. Morningstar Farms veggie crumbles are basically TVP I think, maybe slightly different.
I've used them in place of ground beef in any recipe. Sloppy Joes, tacos, hot dishes (you probably call them casseroles). |

That sounds good I was given some " Bob's Red Mill TVP " I looked it up and yeah, it's just TVP with a few added spices and vitamins. So yes, I'd just use in place of ground beef in any recipe. I LOVE making sloppy joes with that a can of Heinz sloppy joe sauce (it's one of the vegetarian ones). It's so simple but low fat, high protein and quite tasty. |

I buy this, and it has textured wheat gluten in it
it's delicious as a burger or crumbled up for sauces and stuff If you will, so will I | |
