I wouldn't do it...I have one...I like it, but now that my life is changing so much, I am thinking about getting it removed this summer.

Fauxie hand tattoos are pretty hard core...you might want to rethink it. Talk to your artist with your ideas and see what he/she suggests. If they are any good they'll have lots of ideas for you.

Sorry but it irks me that people make comments like this. Who the fuck cares what people do to their own bodies? You shouldn't. If someone tatted you against your will then ya...but what we do with our own is our business...and I love tattoos.

Apparently some people have an issue with people "disrespecting" their own bodies but feel fine when THEY show disrespect to others about their own choices. Arrogance IMHO

Nick you claim you don't have the arms for it... i beg to differ! i think your arms are perfectly wonderful and fit your physique. You are lithe, my dear, not emaciated. cool should shoulder tattoos only be for the 200lb beefcake who hangs out at the gym? talk to the hand a tattoo there that isn't too huge would be fine! on my chubby bingo wing arms, on the other hand confused not so nice!

Not my taste, but if you dig it go for it.

Well, that's the thing, I'm not sure. It'd be pretty prominent all the time, so I'm wondering if I'd regret it, but I don't want to get one and just hide it away. Decisions...

According to the interview I just read with Kat D (the chick from LA Ink), she said that if you have even the slightest doubt, don't do it.

I have no tattoos so I can't speak to the issue, but she is covered in them and that's what she says. Hope it helps.

Depends on the hand and the tattoo - beautiful hand AND stylish tat, hell yes. Uglay hand and/or ditto tat, hell no.

Because I am going to school to be a paralegal, and I don't feel the tattoo would fit in a law office, and yes it would be worth it, if it meant I got a great job in a great firm.

I would miss the tattoo, because it was my first tattoo, when I turned 18 and it's a nice one...a tiny rose, but now that my life is going in a different direction..it's probably for the best.

Don't get me wrong, I will still get tattoos, but just in places that wouldn't be considered bad for my future job.

I have tattoos on my forearm and both wrists. I wouldnt tattoo the top part of my hand but I would tattoo between my fingers or on my palm.
Say it's just a dream...
U open up ur eyes and come 2 realize

So u lean over and give her a kiss
Here on earth, here on earth,
with u it's not so bad
Here on earth, here on earth
