they're alright, but just like when Krispy Kreme donuts came to the west coast, I don't think all that much of them. Processed foods don't deserve that much attention...

I remember when I was a kid growing up in Virginia in the 90s, Krispee Kreme was THE donut place. Dunkin' Donuts came and was only in business for about 2 years because they couldn't compete.

When I moved in California and found out KK was coming to the Bay Area, I rejoiced lol

There aren't any here (and I gave up chicken a few years ago) but they're crazy!

From their website:

Q: What is the corporate purpose of Chick-fil-A, Inc.?

A: To glorify God by being a faithful steward of all that is entrusted to us. To have a positive influence on all who come in contact with Chick-fil-A.

I think that's why I don't go as often either. I used to go there a lot at school since one was on campus. They were one of the few places that stayed open late. I still love the lemonade though.....I could drink it everyday. mmmm

Cause it's a fast food joint, not a church. For my personal taste,it's a bit much as a corporate purpose statement. If that's their corporate purpose, then I'd like to see it in their advertising or visibly at their stores. I like to know what the companies I support stand for as much as possible. I do give them credit for at least having it on their website.

Like this (shot just around the corner from my house):

I think that's a crazy sign.
It's Dave's prerogative to have that on his sign, but at least it sets the tone and lets me know I won't be spending my money there.lol By the same token it let's a more traditional person who might want to honor Jesus through some shag or Berber know to do it there.

It never dawned on my dumb ass that the reason Chick fil a's are closed on Sundays might have to do with religion. doh!

shrug I live in a southern state and I've never seen one. I doubt they have a chicken sandwich as good as the ones at Chick-Fil-A.

Well, they specialize in wings, but sell sandwiches, strips, salads, etc.....it's just a nice change from Chick-Fil-A. Their salads are pretty good.

Me either. I had no clue their reason for the business was religious. I don't care though.
