Congratulations you are now a organ donor just like me !!!

My kidneys will go to one or two folks on dialysis. My eye corneas will sight to some one, my liver and panceras will help some as well, my blood will be transufused to save a few lives, my bones will provide marrow to folks suffering from luekemia, ,y heart will beat in another's chest so they may live to be with the family that I no longer have, my brain will go for Alheimier's research, my lungs for someone who is suffering from respiratory failure, my skin for a burn victim needing a skin graphs.

Cremate me and let my ashes fetilize the community garden so that others my have access to fresh fruits and vegtables. Do a good deed in my name and remember that just becasue I am gone my spirit lives on!!!!

If you have donated for a medical school they will use "all" of you for science and reasearch that is great as well!!!

I don't know what they do with the extra pieces of live people.

My mom donated her body to the medical university here. About a year after her death I got a call from my sister saying that mom had just showed up at the door. They sent the ashes back (no warning) in a package, in a plastic bag, tied with the metal toe tag. It's a good thing my family has a good sense of humor. Plus, my mother would have thought that halarious!! lol

Good question. I've no idea. Does it go in a furnace, perhaps?

Q What happens to amputated limbs?

By Karen Youso, Star Tribune

Karen Youso

Q What happens to amputated limbs?

A After the limb is amputated, it is taken to the hospital's pathology lab. It is kept in a freezer there until it is collected for cremation and proper disposal, according to pathologist assistant Kristin Giesen at Hennepin County Medical Center. Patients can also choose to have the limb sent to a funeral home for cremation or burial. Hospitals can only release body parts to a funeral home.
