For 10 years i raced bikes in various classes in the UK. Last season was the one where i realised i had enough of competition but will still ride occasional meets and get track time, i would have loved to have done it pro but basically wasn't good enough. I have tested for a race team who were running bikes in BSB and WSB, i helped out with testing and loved every minute of it but in honesty when i rode with those guys it made me see the gap between a quick club racer and a pro.
Happy days

It isn't that cool TBH.
We develop and deploy converged networks. I have been in the industry for 10 years and it has developed from a very much separate voice (telephony) and data systems in to one and the thing. The company has developed from me basically being an Alcatel-Lucent sales guy in to a company that now does everything a business needs to remain cutting or even bleeding edge with it's communication. We do everything from a single analogue line to multi-country hundreds of users converged networks delivering fast easy communications. We are a T2 carrier so we dont own the copper in the road but we do own a huge data center and an ISP. Currently have 20 staff.

All my hobbies always end up turning into really bad habits.
Fr'instance,
I used to enjoy grooming cats. Which eventually led me to becoming addicted to performing liposuction on them.
And the thing is, the great majority of the time, they don't really need it. They're usually not that fat. And besides, their fur usually hides most of the celluite, anyways. The only reason I keep doing it is because I'm preverse, and that has got to stop.

Singing. Studio sessions and concerts.

I get paid for it, but I really only do it for fun, maybe a few times a year as a favor to friends. So yup, it's just a hobby.

Cooking is my other hobby-love.

I wanna be a cookbook author in my old age... mushy

I don't really have time to pursue the things I am interested in to the level I'd like but I like to...

1. Play piano
2. Dance (classes--not clubbing, although I do like to go out dancing)
3. Photography--I am not good, just would like to get better.
4. Baking and/or making desserts.
