well, i just read 7e7e7's thread about women in leg casts, it made me giggle...


that simple ankle sprain i had last summer when i fell at the grocery store has now become a situation that needs to be surgically repaired the stupid thing just wont heal no matter what we do... so... surgery is coming at the end of next week.

the bad news is that after surgery i will be in a cast for 6 freakin weeks!!! and after that i wear that stupid boot again for 6 MORE weeks - i am not allowed to drive during that time, which in case we need help counting is 3 motherfucking months!!!!! just how the hell am i supposed to run this house without driving for 3 months????

oh well, it is what it is...

heres where i need your help. OBVIOUSLY i am going to have a LOT of time on my hands and i would like to know if there are any television series that you guys like that i could go out and buy on dvd. i have really enjoyed 'weeds' (wonder when season 4 comes out?), 'friends', 'sex in the city', 'desperate housewives', 'will and grace' and 'its always sunny in philidelphia'.... i own all of those. i really wanna start another show, preferably one that has many seasons already out there, or has maybe even finished already... i keep looking at 'scrubs' because i never really watched that and my younger sister seems to really like it....

but seriously, any ideas of what to do with all that time???

Scrubs rules... a seriously underrated sitcom if ever there was one...

Like SciFi? Stargate was great especially when you run it all together sans commercials and SG: Atlantis is pretty decent as well...

Entourage is really good

The Wire, The Shield, & Rescue Me are stellar (STELLAR!!!) dramas, seriously not to be missed...
