Costochondritis 1st to all that have expressed concern and support
2nd what Jessica has is Costochondritis big ole medical words anyway we just returned from the specialist and that's what she said our Jess has - one less things off my stress plate ... Costochondritis Definition Costochondritis is an inflammation of the cartilage that connects a rib to the breastbone (sternum). It causes sharp pain in the costosternal joint — where your ribs and breastbone are joined by rubbery cartilage. Pain caused by costochondritis may mimic that of a heart attack or other heart conditions. Your doctor might refer to costochondritis by other names, including chest wall pain, costosternal syndrome and costosternal chondrodynia. When the pain of costochondritis is accompanied by swelling, it's referred to as Tietze syndrome. Most cases of costochondritis have no apparent cause. In these cases, treatment focuses on easing your pain while you wait for costochondritis to resolve on its own.

I hope she feels better soon!! She has been very uncomfortable for weeks now and today very sore from the pushing the Dr does on the sternum and ribs. Dr said could be 2 weeks to 2 months beore the pain goes away but what a load of stress off us and HER ( she has a past history with heart issue )

Glad she'll be OK. Too bad that will cut into her dancing and such in the meantime though. Studies have shown the ass crack of the average Prince fan to be abnormally large. This explains the ease and frequency of their panties bunching up in it. |

It wont ( an hasn't cuz she is a super warrior chick like her Mom ) and the Dr says she should continue to be as physical as she is comfortable doing

i can 'crack' my sternum like one would 'crack' their knuckles.
is that normal. onece in while it will kind of hurt or feel uncomfortable, and if i push my shoulders back it will pop.

Poor kiddo - hope she's feeling better soon. But, thank goodness it's something non-heart related and that it will resolve on its own! That's great news!
