Oh wow, I'm really sorry to hear about that. I don't have any children of my own but I have my niece Tyra who I'd do anything, and reading this thread made my throat tighten just thinking about if that was Tyra. What shocking news. I have no idea how i would react to hearing something like that about my son. But you sound strong and your daughter looks adorable. It is amazing what medicine can do these days.

Thank you Pink! I love it when people say that! Throughout my pregnancy I loved that name but everyone I told looked at me like  So I bowed to pressure and called her Evie, for a DAY!  Her middle name was always going to be Lilly (after both of my Grandmothers) but when my brother pointed out that her name would sound like Evil, Evil-ly I quickly stripped her of that name and reverted back to Elsa! Besides, I'd carried her for the last 9 months, had severe morning sickness, gestational diabetes, aneamia, backache, stomach pains and a ridiculously short labour (I gave birth in 17 minutes - I TOLD that midwife I was in labour  ) and she was a whopping 9lb 10oz, so I could call her what the fuck I liked!!!
So yeah! Thanks for that! I'm not stopping. I haven't even taken my coat off
