This family is still going through my mind, what desperation that man must of felt, to think this was his only way out.

Prayers for the children rose

He could to Iraq or Afghanistan and get killed?

...and he could've walked out of his house and gotten killed for wearing the wrong colors....I've been over there on 3 seperate occasions, and unless I'm mistaken, I ain't dead yet.....

But thousands of others are.

And yes, life in it's randomness promises none of us another minute.

In the US, if you don't pay your taxes, you go to jail.

Look up the law, I swear it's not even on the books. It's not mandatory at all. Your government, ladies and gentlemen.

LOL
Are you saying you don't pay taxes?
It can be done but most of us work at company that deducts taxes.

Who me? lol

I plead the 5th. The story of the beginning of the income tax is interesting to say the least.

he didnt have to do that.
i know people are like "omg, the economy"...desperation...coping...ect-ect, but knowing how many people around the world who are not even going through but living through a worse situation and still accepting the life theyve been given and striving for more...im disgusted by the actual contemplation and decision making by this man.
...and the children too? confused
...then he turned to me and said "I dare you".

Thousands have died...true enough....but in war, that tends to happen...and most of the folks I know who wear military uniforms as I do know and understand what "support and defend the Constitution of the U.S., against all enemies foreign and domestic" could potentially cost...walking into a recruiters office to see what options are available (especially in this case for someone facing their last resort) wouldn't have obligated him to anything...he could've walked out at any time if the idea of going overseas didn't work for him...
He was like a cock who thought the sun had risen to hear him crow.

I specifically said I couldn't ever do that. I love my children waaaaay too much and its just morally sick to me to harm them. If stuff was that bad, I would simply sell all my shit that will sell, buy a basic mobile home so we'd have someplace to lay our heads, and I would clean toilets if needed to keep food on the table. Theres always somewhere to work, the question is if one is determined to find a way, theres always a way...you just gotta find it. Sometimes not having a lot builds character and awakens one's inner genius.

I wouldn't say that most people dont give a shit about the foster care system. I know plenty of people who help out, and when my own children are grown, I intend to help. However, my first priority is to my own children, and I dont feel I need to apologize for that. Its a shame the way the system is, and I dont fully know the extent to how bad things are within the system. I just know that I would never send my children into it.

So what you're saying essentially that while you know the foster care system is bad for kids now, you're perfectly willing to just wait a few years before you step up to do anything about it? confuse

Why complain about something you know is broken, make a point of saying your own kids would never be put into the system, but leave it as is?

Can you even read? I keep repeating myself with you. I believe I said my first priority is to my own children, and I offered no apologies. You know little girl...your self righteous tone is astonishing. How many foster kids do you have in your crib? There are many different systems that are bad which serve children, and I have done more than most to help children. You know absolutely nothing about me, and seeing your rude tone, I think I will keep it that way.
Going to church doesn’t make you a Christian, any more than standing in a garage makes you a car.

I have been out of work for 4 months. I have a daughter and an elderly mother to care for. The stress I am under is immense. I go to apply for jobs daily only to hear" We have over 200 applicants, but you can fill one out if you want.". With all the stress I'm under I would never even think of killing my family. What kind of solution is that. You just have to keep hoping you'll walk into a place and they'll want to hire you. Just know it's a tough time right now and you've just gotta do what you can to SURVIVE. Not destroy.

The fuckers made $40.00 an hour each and over extended themselves by having too many children. They committed fraud and were rightfully fired. They had family to turn to as stated in an article. They could have killed themselves and left the children with family

One thing that bothers me about Republicans. They don't want the Government interfering -- no universal health care. Instead they want people to fend for themselves. But... they frown upon abortion, creating a situation where people who can't support themselves have children and just make things worse. That's one of the reasons I'll never be a Republican. But, i'm for lower taxes.

People from war torn countries whom have really been through shit have managed to survive and come out stronger. You men to tell me that this is over money? One of My sisters has 6 kids and single trying to find a job. The economy has been bad for her way before bush and her and her kids are still here. Some people just can't handle things. Weak will get you nowhere.

What does abortion have to do with this situation? They were a family that made good money and chose to have their children. Abortion is legal, they had a choice. Frowning on abortion doesn't change the fact that it has been legal for over 30 years
