I HAVE SEEN THIS WORK for so many here....that I feel it can't hurt....positive thinking can do wonders...
So Im asking for your prayers for my Dad...he had surgery on his lungs a couple of weeks ago as he keeps getting fluid building up and they didn't know why.....(they drained 2 litres during the op.) They have told us it is abestos related but no more than that.....they are sending the results to his GP for him to tell him ...(he saw his GP a couple of days ago but he still didn't have the results) He has been staying with me since the op so I can change his dressings ....but I have spent all last night trying to convince him to go to the hospital as the wound is oozing...no spurting fluid ...if he sneezes or coughs it goes everywhere ..even with the thick dressing....last night he sneezed and it was all over his clothes and the floor....I don't know if they just took the drain out to soon or if this is fluid from his lungs just using the wound as an escape I'm also terrified that we are going to be told he has x amount of time to live ....my father who has always been so big and strong....I can't lose him

Oh Ocean! I'm so sorry to hear that your dad is ill. I really would bundle him into the car pronto and get him back to the hospital to have it looked at, I'm no expert but I'm pretty sure it's not supposed to leak like that.
I'm sending you both loads of positive thoughts (cosmic ordering) and I hope he'll have a super-speedy recovery And as for you, young lady, you know we're here if you need some more support Thinking of you both. I'm not stopping. I haven't even taken my coat off

Fluids coming from a surgical wound I don't think would be a good thing. You could call the hospital, and ask them if it's something you should be concerned about or if it's nothing serious. If they say that it should'nt be doing that I would'nt even bother with taking him in your car I would call an ambulance to take him in. You MUST get him to the hospital. That spurting thing sounds like there could be an infection or something involved. I am sending positive thoughts his way.

Take matters in your own hands and call the Dr. They can easily tell you if it is normal and or not. To the extent you spoke of, it sounds like it needs a good look over.
