has anyone seen a movie called "Save Me" i just watched this on netflix (it's an instant watch and i'm entirely too impatient to wait for things in the mail, lol) and though i was a little concerned it could be a cheesy lifetime-type movie, i was surprised at how well the subject matter was executed.
basically its about a gay guy who's hit bottom with drugs and his brother sends him to a center for reformed gays, believing that homosexuality is the root of his problems. there's none of the stereotypical presentations and the movie actually handles both sides in a respectable, mature way. i know the org loves its gays, so i thought this movie may interest some of you. it was pretty good...and you don't have to wait for it in the mail, lol. always a plus! anyway, here's imdb's info on the movie and i'm sure you can check out clips on youtube. if you end up watching it, or if you've seen it, what did you think? http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0772200/ An individualist is a man who lives for his own sake and by his own mind; he neither sacrifices himself to others nor sacrifices others to himself... | |
