it is so damn loud i run the risk of blowing my ear drums more than getting caught in a fire.

I looked outside and I didnt see any fire. Dunno what's up but i hear sirens coming.

it was a false alarm apparently but a high pitched noise was still coming from the top floor.

i met the super on my way out of the building today and we had a funny exchange about it. well i thought it was funny.

me: False alarm this morning huh?

super: what? the police came to the building?

me: no the false alarm this morning?

super: the police?

me: no, no...the alarm went off this morning didn't it?

super: oh it's still going off? that must be the noise upstairs. i'll go look at it now.

me: oh ok. later.

kinda funny.

Oh and for not going outside when the fire alarm goes off; especially if the fire department shows up at your apartment. Don't you watch NY1? There is always some story about people dying in their apartments because of a fire!
