I used to live in Goodrich, which is close to Ortonville, and you're right... we do get more snow up this way than you do. Goodrich was horrible in the winter...

And, no, it isn't any fun to drive in. People were driving very slow this morning, I noticed, and there really isn't that much on the ground here just yet... it's only going to get worse.

It was 55 degrees this weekend. Last weekend it snowed, but then I live in Colorado. It is true what they say about Colorado. You can stand on a street corner and experience the four seasons in one standing.

It takes me about a minute and a half to get to work in the morning if I walk real slow
That means I can stay in bed for a good long time, there have been occassions when I have slept in until 8.45am but I still get to work ontime washed, scrubbed and ready to go!

But when the snow comes it does take a lot longer - I must look damned stupid slipping on ice taking tiny steps really slowly tottering about in my high heels!

Please be as jealous as you like!

We only have that for 1-2 days a year.
