Derek Hess- Flood Damage 
I want to get this on my side....to pay homage to New Orleans in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, and all of the memories of my childhood haunts that were washed away...in the flood damage.... He was like a cock who thought the sun had risen to hear him crow.

Ink one night...Kat actually tatted Derek Hess on the episode, so I went to his website and checked out his work....came across this one, and immediately Katrina came to mind....I originally wanted to get a fleur de lis with a hurricane symbol on my calf, but this piece blew that idea out of the water..figuratively speaking...
...the lowest estimate I've gotten so far is $950, so it'll be a hot sec before I actually commit.....but by year's end, I'll be posting a pic of my rib cage.... He was like a cock who thought the sun had risen to hear him crow.

So I was looking for him for 2 weeks and he expressed interest in working on my design  he kindly agreed to do it. Seriously, the shop owner treated him like a freaking prince.
He did a good job though. It's just a beginning though, cuz I didn't have enough cash to make an entire sleeve. I'm not mad at you, I'm mad at the dirt. | |
