Having shopped at both I never see what people find attactuve in Taget compared to wal mart? There are fewer three eyed fucks roaming the ailses at target, but other than that the stuff for sale is about the same

sort of like comparing lowes to home depot

Being a guy, you may not notice the difference in what's being sold. lol

The choices in apparel, home decor and overall design are markedly different though, as well as grocery stuff these days.

Having said all that, I work for Target headquarters, so if they were to have a major crisis, I'm out of a well paying job and so is a sizable chunk of downtown Minneapolis.

I'm from the UK but i spend time over in the US and Target and Walmart are very different i think. Target actually feels like you're in a store with integrity. The food is also better. Walmart feels like the product of a nuclear war. I don't like going in there, theres something really wrong about it!

everytime i go to the mall, i see 3 or more additional places that have went out. i'm starting to wonder what will be left in our mall? confused

also alot of local places where i live have closed down! sad

let's see what places will be left at the end of this year? the main places i shop are wal-mart, jc penney, and the outlets mall.

i worked for years at a mall that is now gone..and it originally had 160 stores.it's anchors were sears, montgomery ward, burdines(macy's) it had a huge food court...the best of any mall around for it's variety..near the end it was very empty, and(the last superbowl held in tampa)
it came in handy for partys, as there wasn't much else left...most of the food court was still there then..and a few stores..my store closed Feb 2001...
it was torn down and now holds Tampa Bay Buccaneer people and things...

that's the store i worked at as manager on the left..
i think this was a month or two before it(the store) closed...

I hate Macys'. I just paid off my card and refuse to shop there.

I had an $800 balance with a $1000 limit or something. I was late paying my bill, 1 DAY, I swear. The next thing I know my limit is down to $300. SO, that means that I'm now over my limit. They started charging me extra for that too. That doesn't seem quite fair. Late charge, yeah, okay but over limit charge after THEY lowered it. NO!!!!

When linens and things was going out of business in my area, I got the BEST bargain on a complete set of bedding. Comforter, shams, sheets (2 sets!) pillow cases, frou-frou little pillows to adorn the bed, dust ruffle, the works..for my king size bed. I only paid 49.99, and I LOVE IT, LOVE IT!!! cloud9

Then you can probably wait until the prices go down,
hopefully there aren't 9 others waiting for the prices to drop too.

I think I'll wait until 40% off or if the prices becomes cheaper than Best Buy.
hmph!

The other day I compared the price of an SD card and found a 4gig for $12 at Best Buy,
while the cheapest SD card was still about $20,
and it wasn't even 4gig, but 2gig.
How can their prices still be so high?

They prolly raised the prices during the liquidation and are discounting from a higher price. confused

Probably.
They're probably still trying to get what they can so they can pay off their debtors.

Anxiety

macy's is really going downhill. i hardly ever go in there anymore because there's never anything in there i want to get, and what they do have is always strewn around all over the place or else if i'm looking at clothes they never have any sizes other than XS or XXXL. oof, who needs that.
