I did this exact thread about 4 years ago and got two replies. One of them was some random person telling me not to start such lame threads. Seriously. lol Hope yours goes better than mine...

These are some things I know a tiny bit about, but I'm not very good at...yet...

Carpentry
Guitar
Knitting
Oil painting
Cooking lol
Photography
Gardening

You know you aren't going to do any of those things exclaim talk to the hand

lol

wink

I know. It sounds like old people stuff. lol I did start learning guitar, but then got a neck injury for two years and couldn't play. Now I'm just too lazy to take it up again. redface

And I suppose I would have to actually have a garden first before I can learn how to "garden".

My dad was always good at that and I used to watch him make stuff in the garage when I was a kid. I love the smell of fresh sawdust.

Let's build a stairway to heaven Herman. smile

Accountancy - the idea of learning it however is coma-inducingly boring to me but we have our own business and these accountants cost a bloody fortune!

ZombieKitten

I know a tiny little bit about a LOT of things giggle

but one thing I should really try, is to find out about other people, I tend to be so insular and don't ask many questions or try to get to know someone properly. I'd blame shyness, but I think it is more a fear of obligation - once I make an intimate friendship, I have to maintain it, and that is probably my main point to work on. I made 2 very good friends last year, and I really should call them and see how they are! redface

Tires, I can do....and I can definitely wash and detail the shit out of any car....but if you pop the hood and need me to fix what's underneath, you might as well call a cab, because that car isn't going anywhere soon.... lol

Don't worry about it. I'm pretty strong and I always stand on the tyre iron. I'd be more worried if the bolts were so loose, I didn't have to use a lot of force.

I can change a tire! And I have! Many times!

It was fun the first two times cause I was so proud I could do it, now it's just annoying.

One of those times two guys were walking by as I was doing it and I could tell they were trying to decided if they should stop and help, thinking they ought to but not really wanting to. They stopped about 10 feet past me, finally turned around and walked back and asked if I needed help.
I said I knew what I was doing, but that I'd just had my nails done so if they wanted to do it for me, I'd be happy to let them and laughed. lol

They didn't find it funny.

neutral

They said "OK, then" and left. confused
