These are some things I know a tiny bit about, but I'm not very good at...yet... Carpentry Guitar Knitting Oil painting Cooking Photography Gardening You know you aren't going to do any of those things I know. It sounds like old people stuff. I did start learning guitar, but then got a neck injury for two years and couldn't play. Now I'm just too lazy to take it up again. And I suppose I would have to actually have a garden first before I can learn how to "garden". I know a tiny little bit about a LOT of things
but one thing I should really try, is to find out about other people, I tend to be so insular and don't ask many questions or try to get to know someone properly. I'd blame shyness, but I think it is more a fear of obligation - once I make an intimate friendship, I have to maintain it, and that is probably my main point to work on. I made 2 very good friends last year, and I really should call them and see how they are!

I'd be more worried if the bolts were so loose, I didn't have to use a lot of force.

I can barely get by on working on my computer I'm so proud that I can actually change a tire! I have such weak arms I have to stand on the thingee to loosen the bolts I can change a tire! And I have! Many times! It was fun the first two times cause I was so proud I could do it, now it's just annoying. One of those times two guys were walking by as I was doing it and I could tell they were trying to decided if they should stop and help, thinking they ought to but not really wanting to. They stopped about 10 feet past me, finally turned around and walked back and asked if I needed help. I said I knew what I was doing, but that I'd just had my nails done so if they wanted to do it for me, I'd be happy to let them and laughed. They didn't find it funny. They said "OK, then" and left. |
