Essential Oils

Where is the best/least expensive place to find them?

Is there a good place on the web?

Thanks, as always...the Org is the first place I run to for info *lol*

Mach

With Essential Oils you want to buy quality - spend a bit more on that

This is where I buy most of mine

http://www.simplers.com/

Make sure to educate yourself on the proper uses of each oil

I was just about to post similar lol

Be wary... adulteration of essential oils is widespread... some are quite expensive to produce.

So Mach or Steadwood, how do we know if we're getting quality oils
or not? What should we be looking for? I never have quite understood
how that works.

I've bought oils at different times, but never knew what to look for really,
as far as quality goes.

I'm big on aromatherapy actually....in many forms...

That's where I got the "recipe" for the candles =) Our Michael's had a pretty crap selection of fragrances though. I'm looking to make some customized candles =)

If the suppliers will provide quality data sheets of each oil then you are fairly confident of getting pure oils... of course you have to know how to read data sheets. Aromatherapy isnn't just a cas eof nice smelling oils.

In my instance I have to know the chemical make up of each oil I use and how that affects the body.

Well then, I could be outta luck....I wouldn't understand the chemical
make-up...all I know is that if a smell(wherever it comes from) makes
me "feel" nice inside, then it's definitely a smell I want to have around me. cool
