I am proud of my daughter who told me a year ago that Obama would be President. The depth of her knowledge about him, his platform,current events and what she wanted for her future impressed me enough to make me give him another look. She did her homework on him and made an informed, no mama bias  decision. It warms my heart that she was right.
We all should know that diversity makes for a rich tapestry, and we must understand that all the threads of the tapestry are equal in value no matter what their color. Maya Angelou | |

I am proud of my teens for paying close attention to the campaign, election, and inaugurtion.

I am still very proud. I am proud of President Obama for providing inspiration in the United States and around the world.

i hear you on that one. that drives me crazy for my daughter as well. they have really nice practical ones for boys but the girls are all white & pink.  | |
