I have two neurotic cats. They were born in the cat shelter and hardly saw any humans until they were three months. It took me half a year to losen up DeeDee, the girl. She is cuddly and not so afraid anymore.
Dexter, the only tomcat I ever owned is still very scared of movement and sound. But to me he is opening up. Took me TWO years.

DeeDee is rather fond of catfood, no matter what, but goes potty over dairy producs. Milk and especially yogurt.

Dexter is CRAZY for chips. Dunno the american word for that, maybe I am using the wrong word; the Lays variety. Anything crunchy is his fave, esp the peanut variety.
Also, lately, as he gets more and more cuddly, he loves laying on my lap and nibbling on my fingers. Very softly and when he really gets into it, he starts biting a bit harder. I do not care much, cuz it took me two years to get him somewhat more cuddly.
I just love my Dexter.
