This is my current schedule: Monday - Back, biceps, cardio(2 hrs.) Tuesday - Forearms, calves, cardio(80 min.) Wednesday - Chest, triceps, cardio(2 hrs.) Thursday - OFF(junk food day) Friday - Legs, shoulders, cardio(2 hrs.) Weekends - OFF (Abs I try to do every other day, but I've been slacking off lately. ) I also use creatine from time to time. [Edited 1/20/09 20:43pm] You're welcome... and if by young brother you mean "one who is but a scant 6 years behind you" then I accept that as a compliment as well.... I'm in a transition as far as my workout goes....I've got about 5 years left until I hang up my Army spurs and I don't want to end up looking like many of my peers who really look like they should've retired years ago....this is a young man's game, for sure, but damned if these lil youngsters are going to get the best of me..... He was like a cock who thought the sun had risen to hear him crow.

Yesterday I had small non-fat mocha water veggie lasagna w/ricotta (no noodles) steamed carrots water 1 small choc chip cookie water 6 veggie buffalo wings w/1 serving fat free ranch dressing salad of mixed organic greens, dried cranberries, parmesan cheese and balsamic vinigrette orange diet soda handful of milk chocolate chips Total calorie count about 1100 for the day This was an OK day as far as calorie count, but probably not the best balanced nutriionally. |

Ex-Moderator | They used long strips of eggplant for the "noodles". It had all kinds of yummy veggies and herbs. Spinach and mushrooms and crushed tomatoes and such. It was a fairly large lunch, but only 215 calories!! |

I wanted to answer this too but forgot. These guys are pretty fussy, they prefer raw vegies to cooked, and eat cereal for breakfast (Oscar can eat 7 wheat bix ) then ham, cheese, tomato and cucumber sandwiches for lunch, for dinner the have some meat and/or egg, some noodles or rice, with chopped up tomatoes, carrots, steamed broccoli or green beans. Their favourite dish is tuna in a white sauce and noodles. I don't keep candy or cookies in the house. Between meals they have apples, bananas, apricots, raisins, plums, strawberries, watermelon or whatever fruits I have!

Otherwise it's very, very distracting! not really, I'm not fooling myself, I will NEVER look like that 1st of all! U can't be the judge of that! U'd probably get your self 2 the same condition as your avie & still complain about something, like the rest of your gender! "Oh! I've cellulite on my knee caps!" Or something like that! 2ndly. We could all look like that if we all had personal trainers, dietitians and personal chefs to cook what the dietitians want us to eat!

Trust me, you add a pot of tea to every meal, and you'll stay full. Try to go with herbal, white, or a simple oolong without sugar...and add your daily walks back into your routine....you'll defintely see results. Not only does the tea fill you up, but green, white, and oolong in partcular help increase your metabolism. Snack choices for in between crises moments 1 handful sweet red pepper strips 2 handfuls celery strips dipped into 2tbsp. peanut butter 1 serving low-fat mozzerella, sliced, or "Laughing Cow" cheese strips 1 chocolate crepe(made w/nonsweet cocoa powder ,sugar substitute),cut in wedges 1 small handful peanuts 1 small handful almonds 3 lowfat mini-Babybel cheese Salad bowl of chopped cucumber & tomato w/fresh parsley, olive oil, salt, pepper (w/ an optional dollop of cottage cheese on top) Keep these items stored in ziplock bags to grab at a moment's notice or to carry in your purse while you run errands. Always keep a bottled water in your purse. Take note your chocolate crepe or pancake should be made with whole wheat or spelt flour and unsweetened cocoa powder. Feel free to add cinnamon & a bit of instant expresso or coffe to intensify flavor. For me these wedges are an excellent substitute for chocolate cookies and particularly helpful for me around a certain time of the month when I have cravings and whatnot Depending on what changes you makein your diet and excercise routine, you might want to consider adding a multi-vitamin, omega 3 oil, and chromium suppliment to your breakfast routine daily. so get out and get extra physical I've been told (though I have yet to confirm the factual data) that a good sex romp burns about 400 calories. This is the equivilent to a low impact 45 minute aerobic workout or a belly dancing class!

I can just imagine my husband going through my handbag "why is there an old pancake in here?" I'm not one to reach for sweets in times of desperation luckily! but the vegies, nuts and cheese will work for me. carry water - excellent advice! tea - will look into white tea - never tried it! thank you!
